She was born Sept. 17, 1922, on a ranch located on Palmer Lake near Loomis, Wash., one of five children to Bernard V. and Ora M. (Long) Cox. She graduated from Redmond High School in Redmond, Wash. She was a homemaker and had been a member of the Ladies Elks Auxiliary. She enjoyed plants, flowers, and birds, especially hummingbirds. At the time of her death she was a resident of Flagstone, where she loved to play bingo. She is survived by her children, James and John Kraft, Karen Aker, Kathleen L'Ecluse, Kent Altree and Kevin Grabler. She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Don, Bill, Ron and Babe Cox. Private family services will be held at a later date. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
