The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 20, 1984
     Nedra Prouty, 49, died Dec. 11, in Bend.  Memorial services were Friday 
at the First Christian Church with Pastor Ron Coleman in charge.
     Survivors include two sons:  Lanny Zuercher, The Dalles; Stanley Prouty, 
Portland; two daughters:  Debbie McCurty, Eugene; Stephanie Thompson, Bend; 
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Phil Shaffer, Sunnyside, Wash.; a brother, Warren 
Shaffer, Sunnyside; a sister Aldora Golden, Sunnyside; four grandchildren, 
nieces and nephews.
     Memorials are suggested to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Portland.
