The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 13, 1984
     Hannah Beatrice Posey, 80, died Dec. 7 at a local nursing home.  She 
resided in The Dalles since 1969 and prior to that in Brownsmead.

     She was born Feb. 24, 1904 in White Cloud, Mich.

     Mrs. Posey was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post No. 2741 and 
the AARP.

     Survivors include two sons, Wes, The Dalles, and Lester, Svenson; three 
grandsons; two granddaughters and one great-grandson.  Her husband, Fred, died 
in 1961.

     Graveside funeral services were Monday at Oceanview Cemetery in Astoria 
with the Rev. Fred M. Shelton officiating.

     Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
