The Dalles Weekly Reminder, April l, 1988
Carl D. Phinney, 40, died March 22 in Klickitat where he was a resident the 
last 20 years.

Mr. Phinney was born July 17, 1947, in Wenatchee, Wash.  He was employed at 
the Klickitat Saw Mill for many years.  He was a member of the Life in Christ 
Center in The Dalles.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalee of Klickitat; a son, James D. Phinney of 
Klickitat; two daughters, Stacy Gene and Jill Ellen of Klickitat; a father, 
August Phinney of Prosser, Wash.; 20 brothers and sisters.

Memorial services were held at the Life in Christ Center.  Burial was at the 
IOOF Cemetery in Goldendale.  The Rev. Jerry Gillock officiated.
