The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 24, 1984
     Frances E. Philpott, 91, a former resident of The Dalles for many years, 
died in Boise, Idaho on May 8.

    She had lived in The Dalles until 1978 when she moved to Portland.  She 
moved to Boise in 1982.

     While in The Dalles, Mrs. Philpott was an active member of St. Paul's 
Episcopal Church.

    She was born in Moscow, Idaho on Nov. 7, 1892.  She moved to Nampa, Idaho 
as a child.  She married James T. Lillard in 1912 in Idaho.  He died in 1937.  
She married Leslie A. Philpott in 1940 and moved to Oregon.  He died in 1978.

     Survivors include four daughters, Lucille Bibao, and Jane Moe, both of 
Boise; Louise E. Tussing, Las Vegas, Nev.; Betty Doyle, Spokane, Wash.; 12 
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

     Memorial services were held on May 10 in Boise.
