Anna Darlene Peterson

Surnames: Peterson, Murphy, Rust, Lindhorst, Tibbets, Finley.

Anna Darlene Peterson, 81, a resident of The Dalles, died at a local care 
facility on Monday, February 3, 2003.

Mrs. Peterson was born March 5, 1921, in Grass Valley (Oregon) the only child of
Vivian and Dell Alice (Murphy) Rust. She grew up in Grass Valley and graduated 
from high school in Sherman County.

She lived in Salem (Oregon) for several years, then returned to the Mid-Columbia 
area, working as a waitress in various restaurants.

She enjoyed homemaking, her family, the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending 
time in the woods.

She is survived by her children, Judy Lindhorst and husband, Bud, The Dalles; 
Michael Peterson and his wife, JoAnn, Las Vegas, Nevada and Walter Peterson, The
Dalles; grandchildren Jim, Ed and Ben Tibbets, Taji, Fava and Shilayna Peterson.

She was preceded in death by husbands Claude L. Finley and Clarence Peterson.

An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. on Firday, 
February 7, at The Dalles Eagles Lodge.

Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, 
Libby & Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements.

Remembrances may be made to Meals on Wheels, 1112 West Ninth Street, The Dalles,
Oregon 97058.
