  Bradford William Percey, 64, a resident of The Dalles, died Wednesday, Oct. 
29, 2003 at his home.
     He was born July 28, 1939 in Shaftsbury, Vt., to Bradford and Isabella 
Lucina (Harrington) Percey and came to Oregon with his family as a child, 
settling in the Eugene area. 
     Following his graduation from Willamette High School in Eugene he joined 
the U.S. Navy and served for four years before returning home and working as a 
taxi driver for several years. He later worked for Georgia Pacific Industries, 
serving as a dryer tender in several of their plywood manufacturing facilities 
in the mid-Willamette valley for over 30 years before retiring. 
     He married Martha Moore in Vancouver, Wash., in 1960; they were later 
divorced. 
     He enjoyed league bowling, boating and fishing, feeding wild birds, and 
spending time with his children and grandchildren.
     Survivors include his children: a son Lionel Percey, Eugene; daughters 
Angela Smith, The Dalles; Peggy McKibben, Eugene; Pamela Rogers, Brownsville; 
and Cheryl Percey, Albany; one sister, Edna, Veneta; his grandchildren Scotty 
and Patricia Neet, Angela Smith, Matrisha Percey, Curtis McKibben, Justin and 
Jason Correia, Zachary, Danielle and Ryan Rogers, Ryan, Jacob and Tony 
Gonzalez; his great-grandchildren, Hannah and Caleb Smith and Michael Hart, 
and several aunts and uncles in Vermont.
     At his request no public services will be held. The family will observe 
private ceremonies of remembrance in conjunction with the disposition of his 
ashes Saturday, Nov. 1. 
     Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Gorge, 751 Myrtle 
Street, The Dalles, OR 97058. Arrangements are by Columbia Cremation & Burial
