The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 9, 1987
Nina E. Peck, a resident of Maupin, died Jan. 5 in The Dalles at the age of 74.

Mrs. Peck was born Feb. 3, 1912, in Moro.  She was an active member of Maupin 
Dig and Hoe Garden Club and Rebekah's Lodge.

She is survived by two sons, Paul Peck Jr. of Sherwood, Ore., and Danny Peck 
of Great Falls, Mont.; five grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her 
husband, Paul, in 1982.

Funeral services were held at Maupin Evangelical Community Church with Pastor 
Steven Hopper officiating, followed by burial at Tygh Valley Cemetery.  
Memorials may be made to the Maupin Ambulance Fund in care of Maupin City 
Hall.  Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
