She was born Nov. 27, 1938 in Marysville, Calif. to Ed and Evelina (Bliss) Mann. Her family followed work around the western United States, so she grew up in a number of different communities. In 1956 the Mann family moved to The Dalles, where her father went to work for the railroad. She met her future husband, Wesley Paull, who also worked at the railroad, in 1956. They were married Dec. 22, 1956 in White Salmon. Together they lived in The Dalles, until moving to Hood River,in 1966. She worked for Luhr Jensen for eleven years while in Hood River. She then worked for two local CPAs until 1994 when her husband retired. In their retirement the Paulls enjoyed long trips with their RV across the United States. They moved to Down Manor in Hood River after she became too ill to travel. In her spare time she enjoyed working on and completing puzzles and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Hood River Seventh Day Adventist Church and the Western Horizon Travel Club. She is survived by her husband Wesley Paull of Hood River, daughter Angela Pietrok of Troutdale, sister Fern Osborne of The Dalles, brother Fred Mann of Salem, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Wesley Dean Paull, in 1968. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003 at the Hood River Seventh Day Adventist Church at 2 p.m. Private burial will be held later at Cloverdale Cemetery in Turner.
