The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 25, 1982
     PFC Paul Patton, 21, a resident of Arlington, died June 15 in Weisberg, 
Germany.

     He died from injuries sustained when he was hit by an automobile while on 
guard duty June 12 for the U.S. Army.

     Mr. Patton was born May 24, 1961 in Coquille.

     Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Bill (Barbara) West, Arlington, and 
his father, Gary Patton, Myrtle Point.

     Full military rites were yesterday (Thursday), 3 p.m. at the Arlington 
Eight Mile Cemetery under the direction of the U. S. Army.

     Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of local arrangements.
