The Dalles Weekly Reminder, November 24, 1983
     Frances Eva Patt, 71, died Nov. 17 at a hospital in Madras.
     She was born Feb. 13, 1912 in Simnasho.
     Survivors include her husband, Olney Patt Sr., Warm Springs; three 
daughters, Nina Howe, Maria Hicks and Orthelia Miller, all of Warm Springs; 
two sons, Everett Patt, Hoquiam, Wash., and Olney Patt Jr., Warm Springs; two 
sisters, Delma Frank, Simnasho, and Victoria Smith, Warm Springs; 11 
grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
     Dressing service was Saturday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home.  
Funeral services followed at the longhouse in Simnasho and burial was Monday 
at Wolf Point Cemetery on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation.
