Lenida “Lynn” Fern Patchett, 65, a resident of The Dalles, died at her home on 
Jan. 19, 1996.

She was born Aug. 17, 1930 in Lima, Ohio, to Harry W. and Bernice (Martz) 
Lynn.  She grew up in San Pedro, Calif. and graduated from high school there 
in 1949.

She married John “Jack” Ronald Patchett on Aug. 12, 1949 in Orange County, 
Calif.  They lived in Southern California until moving to The Dalles in 1971.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed her family and the outdoors including fishing 
and boating.

Survivors include her husband, Jack, The Dalles; four sons, John Patchett and 
companion Christie Lowther, The Dalles; Donald Patchett, Mosier; Craig 
Patchett and wife, Candi, Dallesport; and Greg Patchett and his wife, Julie, 
Wishram; nine grandchildren, Alyson, Jenna, Brenda, Sean, Tiffani, Jenea, 
Alena, Brittany, and Karinne Patchett.

Private viewing visitation will be held and a memorial service will be held at 
a later date.  Entombment will be at The Dalles IOOF Memorial Mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to charities of the donors choice, sent in care of 
Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home, 1100 Kelly Ave., The Dalles, OR 97058.
