The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 23, 1987
Dorothy Patricia Parker, 58, a resident of Dufur, died at her home Jan. 15 at 
age 57.  She lived in Dufur for 4-1/2 years, and formerly lived in The Dalles.

Mrs. Parker was born Nov. 5, 1929, in Yucaipa, Calif.

She is survived by her husband, Jack, of Dufur; four sons, Jim and Travis 
Parker of Dufur, Tom Parkwell and Matt Parker, both of Sequim, Wash.; two 
daughters, Marilee Corvington of Marcola, Ore., and Jackie Dowell of Bend; six 
grandchildren; two brothers, William Smith and Pete Smith; a sister, Opal 
Cowan.

Graveside funeral services were held at the Dufur Community Cemetery with 
Pastor Asa Jenson officiating.  Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home was in 
charge of arrangements.
