The Dalles Chronicle, July 7, 2005
     Dennis Lee Olson, 40, a resident of The Dalles, died at his home on 
Sunday, July 3, 2005.
     He was born Feb. 16, 1965 in Blythe, Calif., the younger of two children 
to Olaf Oliver and Caroline (Skaggs) Olson. He was raised in Lincoln City and 
attended schools in Lincoln City. 
     After high school, he worked in Northern California on wind turbines. He 
married Cynthia Lee Rosson in Las Vegas, Nev. 
     He was a member of United Pentecostal Church and enjoyed traveling, 
boating and especially wood working. 
     He is survived by his daughters, Linda and her husband, Richard Groves, 
Amber Olson and Jerrie Olson, all of California; his sister, Cleta Lander, 
Maryville, Tenn. and his mother, Caroline Huntington. 
     He was preceded in death by his father, Olaf Olson in 1966.
     Graveside services will be held at Three Mile Road Odd Fellows Cemetery 
at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8 with Rev. Borders officiating. 
     Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in care of arrangements. 
     Memorial contributions may be made to Ray T. Yasui Dialysis Center, c/o 
Hood River Memorial Hospital, PO Box 149, Hood River, OR 97031 or United 
Pentecostal Costal Church, 2616 West 10th Street, The Dalles, OR 97058.
