The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 9, 1987
Mary Ellen Nixon, a resident of Boyd for 20 years, died Jan. 1, at the age of 
58.

Mrs. Nixon was born in Chiliston, Ark., on Dec. 18, 1928.

She is survived by her husband, John Nixon; sister, Molly P. Hayes of 
Fairfield, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services were held at The Dalles Church of Christ, officiated by 
Brother Robert Bickle.  Smith Callaway Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
