The Dalles Weekly Reminder, July 26, 1984
Donna Belle Nicklin, 48, died in her home Thursday, July 19.  She was a 
resident of Dufur.

She was born Aug. 8, 1935 in The Dalles.

She is survived by a good friend Arthur Stillwell, Dufur; a son, Franklin, 
Dufur; two daughters:  Cheryl Whitehead, Boardman; and Debi B. Nicklin, The 
Dalles; two brothers:  Kenneth Oaks, Tygh Valley, and Melvin Oaks, Yakima, 
Wash.; two sisters:  Olivera Hall, The Dalles; and Louise Richards, Irrigon; 
and four grandchildren.

Memorial graveside rites were held July 25 at Kelly Cemetery, Maupin.  Pastor 
Asa Jenson officiated.  Cremation has been held.
