The Dalles Chronicle, May 3, 1988
Ila Coryl Nickell, 84, a resident of The Dalles for the past 12 years and 
formerly a resident of Oroville, Calif., died at a local nursing home on 
Sunday.

She was born Oct. 13, 1903 in Enid, Okla. to John and Mary (Allstach) Clark.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in The Dalles.

Survivors include three sons, John Nickell, The Dalles; Marion Nickell, 
Stayton, and Fred, Marysville, Calif.; a daughter, Betty Jane Roberts, 
Oroville; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, five brothers and two 
sisters.  Her husband, Otto, died in August of 1980.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ with the 
Rev. Terry Gowen officiating.  Burial will be at The Dalles IOOF Cemetary.

Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
