Wakley iwakley@msn.com December 30, 2006, 2:35 pm The Dalles Chronicle, August 16, 2006 Naida Munter, 73, a resident of Moro, died at her resident on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006. She was born in Brighton, Colo. on Feb. 19, 1933, the youngest of four children to George and Maggie (Crowell) Kratzer. She grew up in Brighton, Colo. where she graduated from high school. She married Richard Brazell in Rawlins, Wyo. in November 1951, raising her family and being a homemaker. Later in life she married James Munter in Elko, Nev. in 1986. She has lived in Westminster, Colo., Baggs, Wyo. and moved to Moro in May 2000. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading books, playing solitaire machines, painting, making jewelry, and collecting coins and Tasmanian Devils. She is survived by her three sons, Bill Brazell of Moro, Dan Brazell of Canon City, Colo. and Rick Brazell of Worland, Wyo.; one daughter, Debbie Kratzer of Moro; one brother, Howard Kratzer of Arvada, Colo.; one sister, Marie Martinez of Inglewood, Colo.; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Munter and one sister, Marie Austin. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-Quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in care of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
