MUNDT DIES; HERE 20 YEARS Arthur S. Mundt, 58, a resident here for 20 years, died Sunday at a local hospital. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Smith Callaway Chapel. Mr. Mundt was born March 10, 1914 at Peshastin, Washington. He was a retired logger. His affliations included the Masonic Lodge and Royal Arch Chapter at Cottage Grove (Oregon), Scottish Rite consistory at Juneau, Alaska, Nile Temple of the Shrine at Seattle (Washington), and a certificate from the Ketchikan (Alaska) Lodge of Perfection. He was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers 701. Surviving are a daughter, Frances Grove of Spokane (Washington), a son, Rodger of Walla Walla, Washington; brother Walter of Astoria (Oregon); two sisters, Alberta Moore of Sunnyside, and Liela Howard of Spokane, and three grandsons. He has been a resident here 20 years. Mr. Mundt was born March 10, 1914 at Peshastin, Washington. Surviving are a daughter, Frances Grobe of Spokane, a son, Rodger of Walla Walla; two sisters, Alverna Moore of Sunnyside and Leila Howard of Spokane, a brother, Walter Mundt of Astoria; and three grandsons. Wasco Lodge No. 15, AF&AM, conducted Masonic services. Interment was to take place at the Peshastin Cemetery. (Note spelling variences of given names in both articles.)
