He was born Feb. 12, 1931 in Hayward, Calif., to Martin John and Ellen Pauline (Pruitt) Muhoberac and moved to Idaho as a young man. He married Barbara Jean Brown on Dec. 9, 1953 immediately prior to joining the U.S. Army to serve in the Korean War. Following his military service he moved to the Portland area and worked as a truck driver for EPI for 33 years. He moved to Pine Hollow in 1991. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, Pine Hollow; a son, Michael Muhoberac, Gresham; daughters Richann Hiatt, Vancouver, Wash.; Debbie Muhoberac, Patricia Arstill, and Linda Potratz, all of Portland; and Denise Grahn, Clovis, Calif. Also surviving is a brother, John Muhoberac, Lowman, Idaho, and 10 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of The Gorge, 751 Myrtle Street, The Dalles, OR 97058 or to Pine Hollow First Responders, c/o Tygh Valley-Wamic Fire Dept., P.O.
