     Robert S. "Bob" Mosser, 92, a resident of The Dalles, died at a local 
care facility on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006.

     He was born in Willamina on April 25, 1914, the fifth of eight children 
to Jonas and Cora (Davidson) Mosser. He was raised and went to school in 
Willamina and Rogue River. He worked for the logging industry, was a beekeeper 
and made custom boxes. 

     He married Verna Sunderland in Kelso, Wash., on Sept. 27, 1936, then 
later married Julie R. Faris-Stratton in Portland on March 6, 1966. He was a 
member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.

     He is survived by his daughters, Carol Moddrell of College Place, Wash., 
Coreen Dusten of Kimberly, Carmen Clark of Riverside, Calif. and step- 
daughter, Michelle Browning of Goldendale; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-
grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

     A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at 2 p.m. at 
the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Hood River, 1223 Oak Ave., Hood River.
Private cremation held at The Dalles Win-Quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby 
and Powell Funeral in care of arrangements.

     Memorials may be made to Mid-Columbia Adventist School, 1100 22nd St., 
Hood River, OR 97031.
