The Dalles Weekly Reminder,  June 19, 1987
     Claude Marvin Morris, a resident of The Dalles for the last five years, 
died June 15 at age 60.  He was formerly of Kent.
     Mr. Morris was born June 13 at Aurora, Mo.  He was veteran of World War 
II.
     He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of The Dalles; two daughters, Diane 
Wood of Beaverton and Cathy Morris of the U.S. Air Force; a son, Randy Morris 
of The Dalles; two step-daughters, Marie and Arlene, both of Portland; 
numerous grandchildren; a brother, Harold M. Morris of Portland.
     Funeral services will be today (Friday), at Spencer, Libby and Powell 
Funeral Home at 1 p.m. officiated by Rev. Egerton Long.  Interment will be at 
Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.  Memorials are suggested to Calvary 
Baptist Church Building Fund.
