The Dalles Chronicle, October 7, 2005
     Pauline Morris, 82, a former resident of The Dalles, died Sept. 21 in 
Salem.
     She was born April 12, 1920 to Nettie and Paul Stein in The Dalles. She 
was a graduate of The Dalles High School and Oregon College of Education in 
Monmouth, now Western Oregon University.
     She married Lloyd Morris on May 23, 1943 in The Dalles. They resided in 
Newport for 30 years before she moved to Salem.
     Survivors include her daughter, Pam Morris, Salem; son Alan and his wife, 
Nancy Morris, Camp Sherman; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild and 
numerous nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd Morris; 
sisters, Helen Stein, Elsie Moore and Hazel Kortge and a brother, Roy Stein.
A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Salem at 1 
p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11.

Fund, P.O. Box 235, Newport, OR 97365.
