The Dalles Weekly Reminder, September 18, 1987
Evelyn Marie Morris, 54, died Sept. 8 in Arlington.  She was a resident of 
Arlington.

Mrs. Morris was born in Sheldon, Miss., on March 21, 1933.  She was a member 
of the Eastern Star Chapter 74 and the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Morris of Arlington; daughters, Karen 
Desimini of Baker and Tamara Fowler of Corvallis; sons, Donnie Desimini and 
Paul J. Fowler; brothers, Charles Masoner, Bill Masoner and G. H. “Bud” 
Masoner of Missouri; four sisters; a sister-in-law, Ellen Ellis of Dufur ; 
mother-in-law, Gladys Morris of Dufur; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the United Methodist Church in Arlington 
officiated by Pastor Mark Johnson followed by interment in the Arlington 
Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ben Wetherell, Ken Walters, Tom Sumner, Jim Green, Bill West, 
Ron Davis.  Donations in her memory are suggested to the University of Oregon 
Health Sciences Center Cardiology Unit.  Smith Callaway Chapel is in charge of 
arrangements.
