The Dalles Weekly Reminder, Feb 5, 1982
     Harold Ernest Morin, 59, a resident of The Dalles since 1958, died Feb. 2 
at a local nursing home.
     He was born April 13, 1922 in Baker.
     Mr. Morin worked as a brick mason for Martin Marietta until he was forced 
to retire for health reasons several years ago.
     He was a member of First Christian Church and The Dalles Eagle Lodge.
     Survivors include his wife Juanita; sons, Mike and Tony Morin both of The 
Dalles; three grandchildren Jason, Jennifer, and Jackie; three brothers, Lewis 
Morin and Normand Morin both of Woodburn and Ray Morin of Corvallis; two 
sisters, May Edith Plummer of Richland, and Donna Campbell, Salem; stepmother, 
Pearl Morin of Woodburn.
     Funeral services will be at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home today 
(Friday) at 2:30 p.m., with pastor Ronald Coleman officiating.  Burial will 
follow in the veteran section of Parklawn Cemetery of The Dalles.
     Memorials are suggested to The Columbia Basin Nursing Home Van Fund.
