The Dalles Chronicle, October 4, 2005
     Norma H. Moore, 78, a former resident of The Dalles, died on Sept. 26, 
2005 while living in Spokane.
     She was born Dec. 15, 1926 in Milford, Utah. 
     She and her late husband, William E. Moore, owned and operated the Coast 
to Coast Store in The Dalles from 1963 to 1977 and later moved to Portland.
     She is survived by sons Alan and Gary Moore, Oregon; daughters Karen 
Abrams, Spokane, and Rebecca Knight, Gold Canyon, Ariz.; a sister Marge Mutch 
and her husband Don, Richland, Wash.; brothers Bob Garinger and his wife 
Carol, Grants Pass; and William Howell and his wife Lelah, Draper, Utah; 11 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by another daughter, Cindy Christopherson
Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 8, 2005 at Memorial 
Gardens Funeral Chapel in Vancouver, Wash.
     Memorials may be made to the Cancer Center or the Hospice of the donor’s 
choice.
