The Dalles Weekly Reminder, April 5, 1984
Hilda Ida Mahowald, 72, a resident of The Dalles, died at her home March 28.

She was born at Bowdle, S.D., April 28, 1911.  She lived in Burien, Wash., 
before moving here nine months ago.

She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include three sisters, Elma Dabner, Olympia, Wash.; Leah Ensley, Mt. 
Vernon, Wash.; Vivian Nelson, The Dalles.  Her husband, Clem, died earlier.

Graveside funeral services were April 2 at Gethsemane Cemetery in Federal Way, 
Wash.

Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
