The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 11, 1987
     Charles Allen Smith, 31, died in Troutdale Dec. 4.  He was a resident of 
The Dalles.
     He was born in The Dalles on Dec. 18, 1955, and attended The Dalles High 
School.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
    He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Smith of The Dalles; a 
sister, Linda Cox of Vancouver; his grandmothers, Gladys Woodside and Della 
Edward of The Dalles; a niece and a nephew.
     Funeral services were held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home 
officiated by Rev. James Bull.
     Private burial was in Parklawn Cemetery.
