The Dalles Chronicle, August 3, 1973
Chester A. Miller passed away at The Dalles Thursday, age 81.  A resident here 
since 1929.  Husband of Lillian O. Miller of The Dalles. Father of Warren G. 
Miller of Pendleton and Mrs. Naoma Lindgren of Prescott, Arizona.  Brother of 
Waverley N. Miller of Carlsbad, Calif. and Mrs. Pearl Porter of Seattle, 
Washington.  Grandfather of 3, great-grandfather of 12 and great-great-
grandfather of 4.  Survived also by several nieces and nephews.  A member of 
Wasco Lodge No. 15 AF&AM, Ft. Dalles Riders and The Dalles Rod and Gun Club.  
Masonic Rites will be held Sat. 10:00 A.M. at Smith Callaway Chapel.  
Interment will follow at The Odd Fellows Cemetery.  Casket bearers include E. 
B. Young, H. E. Heichel, Joe Britton, Tom Heeth, Lynn Creighton and Tom Helvey.
