The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 19, 1982
     Frederick William Miller, 81, a lifelong resident of the Dufur area, died 
Monday at his home.
     He was born October 13, 1900 in Friend.
     Mr. Miller farmed in the Dufur area until he retired and moved to Dufur 
several years ago.
     He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in The Dalles.
     Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Freda Gray, The Dalles, and several 
nieces and nephews.
     His wife, Grace, died in October of 1975.
     Funeral services are today (Friday) at 2 p.m. in Spencer, Libby & Powell 
Funeral Home with paster Robert Letcher officiating.  Burial will follow at 
Parklawn Cemetery in The Dalles.
     Memorials are suggested to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church School in 
care of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
