The Dalles Chronicle, September 1, 2005
     Margaret Loebs Miller, 89, died in Hood River on Aug. 29, 2005.
     She was born in Portland to Joseph H. and Florence (Miller) Hobson on 
July 11, 1916.
     She lived in Portland until 50 years ago, at which time she moved to Hood 
River. She worked as a fruit packer in Odell for many years.
     She enjoyed crossword puzzles.
     Survivors include her son, Robert Hacking, Otis Orchards, Wash.; five 
grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 
her companion, Glenn Fetrow.
     The family will observe services at a later date.
     Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Gorge, PO Box 36, 
Hood River, OR 97031.
     Gardner Funeral Home’s Columbia River Crematory handled cremation 
arrangements.
