The Dalles Chronicle, May 3, 1988
Tamara Anne McNabb, 48, died in Troutdale April 28.

She was born in The Dalles on Feb. 3, 1940.  Mrs. McNabb had worked for the 
post office in West Linn since 1981 and before that had lived in Goldendale, 
Portland, Hawaii where she graduated from high school.  She moved to Lyle in 
1962, worked at the post office, served on the Lyle School Board and was a 
member of the Cascade Singers.

Survivors include a daughter, Katherine Dotson, Ephrata, Wash.; her mother, 
Dessie Rice, Troutdale; a brother, Donald Hobbs, Los Angeles.

Graveside funeral services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today at the Lyle Balsch 
Cemetery under the direction of Gardner Funeral Home of White Salmon.  
Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer Society.
