The Dalles Weekly Reminder, May 31, 1984
     Mrs. Lillian Marie McLeod, 58, died at her home on Friday after a long 
illness.  She had resided in The Dalles since 1956.

     She was born March 26, 1926 at Walla Walla, Wash.

     Mrs. McLeod had worked as a retail clerk for Weisfield's Jewelers in The 
Dalles.  She had been recognized by that firm and was recipient of the Royal 
Purple Club award for outstanding service and sales.

     Survivors include her husband, Lloyd J., The Dalles; a son, John, 
Vancouver, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Gus (Esther) Froese, Portland, and Mrs. 
Roger (Clara) Fitzgerald, Spokane; a brother, Alan C. Schuhert, Walla Walla; 
two grandsons, John and Scott McLeod; her mother-in-law, Iva McLeod, The 
Dalles, and five nieces.

     Funeral srvices were held Monday at Smith Callaway Chapel with the Rev. 
Karl Vercouteren officiating.

     Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
