The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 1, 1984
     Barbara (Mack) McLaughlin, 68, a longtime resident of The Dalles, died 
Saturday at Mid-Columbia Medical Center.

     She was born Oct. 4, 1915 in Pittsburg, Pa.

     She attended The Dalles School of Nursing and worked for many years at 
the local hospital before retiring three years ago.

     She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was active in the 
Humane Society.

     She has no known survivors.

     Graveside services were yesterday (Wednesday) at The Dalles IOOF Cemetery 
with the Rev. Ric Simpson and the Rt. Rev. Rustin R. Kimsey officiating.

     Pallbearers were Robert Ford, Alan Tate, Brent Boothe, Scott Forrester, 
Robert Downham and Daniel Berkovich.

     Memorials may be made to the Wasco County Humane Society.

     Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
