She was born October 10, 1931, in Leavensworth, Washington, the third of four children to John Dorty and Berniece Izetta (Chisolm) Crowe, She was raised and graduated from high school in Cle Elum, Washington. She married Bill McKinney on December 9, 1951, in Cle Elum. After his service with the U.S. Army, Bill went to work for SP & S (Seattle-Portland & Spokane) railroad and they settled in Wishram in 1957. She was a volunteer for many activities in Wishram and loved flowers, gardening, the outdoors and helping people. She is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Berry; Peggy Nedrow, both of Wishram; two grandchildren, Amanda Wise, T.J. Nedrow; three great-grandchildren, Alexus, D.J. and Destiny; her sister, Jill Starkovich, Cle Elum, and many nieces and nephews. At her request, no services will be held. Inurnment of cremains will be in the family plot at Swauk Cemetery, Teanaway, Washington. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home.
