     Larry Wayne McKee-White Eagle, 58, died Dec. 3, 2005, of injuries 
sutained in a fall at his home in The Dalles.
     He was born Feb. 29, 1948, in Pendleton. He later moved to Lebanon with 
his family.
     He graduated in 1966 from Corvallis High School. He married his high 
school sweetheart and later they divorced. He joined the Army, serving the 
major part of his time in Germany. While living in Seattle he married his 
second wife Claire from whom he is also divorced.
     He embraced the Native American way of life. He dearly loved animals, the 
outdoors and working with the elderly. For the past five years he worked as an 
online counselor.
     He is survived by his two children, Christi and Donavon; two sisters, 
Sheryll and Ellen; a stepmother, Maxine; two stepbrothers; two stepsisters; 
five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 
     He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie M. Hayward and his 
father, Hugh G. McKee.
     A celebration of his life will be held in late June at Sorosis Park in 
The Dalles. The date will be announced later. Following the celebration, his 
ashes will be spread along the Columbia River where he enjoyed time with his 
dogs.
