He was born in The Dalles to Gerta Jane (Polk) and Tommy Tony McDonald on August 1, 1954, the eldest child of family of nine children. He was raised in the Celilo Village area, attending Wahtonka High School and graduating from Chemawa Indian School in Salem. He returned to Celilo to live and was a member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Timothy is survived by 3 sisters, Gladys J. Ramirez of Portland, Lori Bodine of Portland, and Geraldine Polk of Warm Springs; 5 brothers, Lawrence Polk, Charlie Chee Jr. and Christopher Chee all of Warm Springs, Terence McDonald of The Dalles and Tildon McDonald of Warm Springs; and his step father, Charlie Chee Sr. of Warm Springs. Dressing and viewing services were held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in The Dalles on Monday, July 5, 2004 at 2 pm. Burial was at the Celilo Cemetery with a ceremonial dinner following. Pallbearers included all family members. Spencer, Libby and Powell in care of arrangements.
