The Dalles Chronicle, July 10, 1973
Mabel Waterman McConkey, a former resident of this area, died Sunday in 
Gresham. 

She is survived by her husband, Perry A. McConkey; and a sister, Ann G. Rion, 
Kalispell, Mont.

Funeral services will be at Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham at 2 p.m. on 
Wednesday.

Mrs. McConkey once lived in the Columbia District where her husband operated a 
farm.  Her first husband, Ira Waterman, operated a farm in the Eight-Mile area.
