The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 29, 1983
     Del Agustus McCallister, 93, a longtime resident of The Dalles, died Dec. 
21 at a local nursing home.
     He was born June 29, 1890 in Emmetsburg, Iowa.
     He was a member of Ramsey Park Grange and had farmed in the Eight-mile 
area.
     Survivors include his wife, Josie, whom he married on Dec. 12, 1911 in 
The Dalles, two sons Dick and Tom, both The Dalles; four grandchildren, nine 
great-grandchildren and two sisters, Millie Leibrand, The Dalles and Edith 
Darnielle, Salem.
     Funeral services were Tuesday at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Milton Hopper officiating.  Private burial followed at The 
Dalles IOOF Cemetery.
