The Dalles Weekly Reminder, August 28, 1987
Anna Florence McBride, a resident of The Dalles since 1928, died Wednesday, 
August 19, at the hospital after a sudden illness.  She was 91.

Mrs. McBride was born in Davenport, Wash., Sept. 7, 1895, to Charles and Alice 
(Large) Goans.  She was a charter member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church 
in The Dalles.  She worked for Foster's Bakery on Third Street from the mid-
1930s to the mid-1940s.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Clayton McBride, The Dalles, whom she 
married September 28, 1917 in Spokane, Washington; one son, James Roy McBride, 
Stockton, California; a half-sister; three granddaughters and seven great-
grandchildren.

One daughter. Evelyn Yohey, died in June 1979.

Funeral services will be held at Spencer, Libby & Powell Funeral Home on 
Monday, August 24 at 11 a.m.  Interment will follow at Parklawn Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church Memorial Fund.
