The Dalles Weekly Reminder, March 15, 1984
     Edna A. Mayer, 85, a former resident of The Dalles, died in Boise, March 
12.

     She was born in The Dalles April 18, 1898, to Louis and Bertha Mayer.  
She lived in The Dalles all of her life until moving to Boise a year ago to 
live with her sister.

     She is survived by her sister, Helen Mayer Farrer, and a brother-in-law, 
Thomas C. Farrer, both of Boise; and her sister-in-law, Frances E. Mayer, The 
Dalles, and several cousins in Germany and Switzerland.

     Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Zion Lutheran Church 
with the Rev. Delmer T. Anderson officiating.  Private burial was held at The 
Dalles IOOF cemetery prior to the memorial service.
