The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 1, 1995
     Patricia M. Matthew, 50, a resident of The Dalles since 1964, died on 
Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995 at the local hospital.
     She was born Jan. 27, 1945 to Mr. and Mrs. Wilmar Dellage, in Vanport, 
Ore.  She grew up in North Dakota and moved with her family to Eugene when she 
was in the seventh grade.
     She met her husband in Eugene and they married on Jan. 19, 1964, then 
became residents of The Dalles.
     She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter BF and for many years was a leader in 
the Camp Fire Girls.
     She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Bill Matthews; two 
daughters:  Holly Riggs of The Dalles and Kim Smith of Petaluma, Calif.; four 
grandchildren and her father Wilmar Dellage of The Dalles.  She was preceded 
in death by her sister Pam Dellage in 1990.
     Memorial services held Wednesday, Nov. 29 at Smith Callaway Chapel, the 
Rev. Karl Vercouteren officiating.
     Memorials:  Mid-Columbia Medical Center Health Foundation in care of 
Smith Callaway Chapel, 311 Union Street, The Dalles.
