The Dalles Weekly Reminder, February 13, 1987
Clarence L. Martin, 87, died in The Dalles Feb. 6.  He was a resident of The 
Dalles for 12 years.

Mr. Martin was born in DeBuque, Colo., Jan. 23, 1900.  He served in the U.S. 
Navy during World War II and was a barber until his retirement 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha, in 1982.  They were married in 
1946.

He is survived by a daughter, Virginia Hodges of The Dalles; a brother, 
Richard McHenry of Kent, Wash.; a sister, Florence Branson of Colburn, Colo.; 
half-sister Margaret Grummett of Paradise, Calif; half-brother, Harry Branson 
of Grants Pass; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces 
and nephews.

Donations in his memory may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of 
the U.S. Bank.  Smith Callaway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
