The Dalles Weekly Reminder, December 27, 1984
     Lillian G. Martin, 70, died at a nursing home in The Dalles, Dec. 20.  
She was a resisdent of Wasco for 10 years.  She was born in Arvilla, N.D.
     Mrs. Martin was a member of the West Burlington, Iowa First Methodist 
Church and the Women of the Moose in The Dalles.
     She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Marilyn) Friedley, Wasco, 
and Linda A. Welp, Plymouth, Wash.; five grandchildren; and two brothers, F. 
Paul Snyder, Davenport, Iowa, and W. J. Snyder, Cupertino, Calif.
     Memorial services will be Thursday, Dec. 27, at the United Methodist 
Church in Wasco with the Rev. Ernie Smith officiating.  Private burial will be 
in the Emmigrant Springs Cemetery near Pendleton.
     Memorials may be made to the Oregon Lung Association in care of Smith 
Callaway Chapel, which is in charge of local services.
