The Dalles Weekly Reminder , July 17, 1987
Michele Annette Madsen, 43, died at the local hospital July 9.  She was a 
resident of The Dalles.

Mrs. Madsen was born Aug. 11, 1943 in Whittier, Calif.  She worked here for 10 
years at General Auto Supply before her illness in 1985.

She is survived by her husband, Craig Madsen; a son, Michael Lash of The 
Dalles; two step-children, Tanya and Christopher Madsen of Klamath Falls; two 
grandchildren, Tara and Michael Lash of The Dalles; her mother Pegge Varner of 
The Dalles; a brother Michael Varner of Portland; an uncle, Jack Lenoch of The 
Dalles.

No public funeral services will be held.  Memorials are suggested to the 
cancer support group in care of Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home in The 
Dalles.
