The Dalles Chronicle,  July 20, 2004
     Lucille May Loughrey, 92, a former resident of Moro, died on July 9, 2004.
     She was born April 25, 1912 in Lebanon.
     She and her first husband, Paul May, were proprietors of the May & Son 
Grocery Store in Moro. He died in 1958.
     Her second husband, Chocs Loughrey, proceeded her in death in 1982.
She moved from Salem to Tigard in 1993.
     She was a long time Christian Scientist and enjoyed golf.
     Survivors include a son, Ron May, Redmond; four grandchildren and one 
great-grandchild.
     At her request, no service will be held. Interment will be at Sunset 
Cemetery in Wasco.
     Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 12768, 
Salem, OR 97309.
     Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Home in Salem.
