Wakley iwakley@msn.com December 10, 2006, 11:45 am The Dalles Weekly Reminder, June 28, 1984 Francis Emil Logan, 70, died June 22, at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon of cancer. He was a resident of White Salmon. Mr. Logan was born March 20, 1914, in Overton, Neb. He moved to White Salmon in 1949, and was employed at Mid-Columbia Dry Cleaners, and was manager of Mt. Adams Elks Club. He retired in 1976 and moved to The Dalles. He moved back to White Salmon a year ago. Mr. Logan was a member of The Dalles Country Club and a member of Mt. Adams Elks Lodge in White Salmon. He is survived by his wife, Blanche, White Salmon; a daughter, Donna Mollet, The Dalles; a son, Ronald, White Salmon; a brother, William W. Logan, White Salmon, a sister, Eunice Nelson, Colton, Ore.; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Monday at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Tall Elks, a charity for crippled children.
