The Dalles Chronicle, January 28, 2005
     Ada Lucille (Westlund) Livingston, 95, a resident of Veneta, died of 
natural causes at a hospital in Eugene on Jan. 20, 2005.
     She was born May 6, 1909 in Chicago, the second of three daughters to 
Beaulah (Osborne) and A. Jack Hennecke. She grew up and attended school in The 
Dalles.
     She married Ejnar E. Westlund and they raised their family in The Dalles.
     She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and longtime member of the 
Eagles Lodge (52 years).
     She was widowed by husbands Ejnar E. Westlund, Vern Peterson and Herb 
Livingston.
     She spent her last years in the care of her son and family, Ed, Kari, 
Olliver and Anders Westlund.
     She loved her family and enjoyed the challenge of a bingo game.
     She is survived by her five children, Winnie and Ron Milby, Lakeside; 
Maxine and Jim Wilds, Milwaukie; Inez Kenner, The Dalles; Ed and Kari 
Westlund, Veneta; and Pete and Linda Westlund, Florence; 15 grandchildren, 
Carla Philley; Kurt and Jerry Milby; Kathy Banks; Ben and Joe Wilds; Tom and 
Mike Kenner; Karen Munsen; Kristina Beresh; Loren Becker; Tarina, Olliver and 
Anders Westlund; and Eric Westlund; 16 great-grandchildren, including Nathan 
and Adam Munsen, The Dalles; and five great-great grandchildren, including 
Alexus Munsen, The Dalles; a brother-in-law, Bob Westlund, and several nieces 
and nephews.
     Arrangements were handled by Poole and Larsen Funeral Home of Eugene.
     Her remains have been cremated. Services will be held in conjunction with 
the family reunion on June 25, 2005, at 11 a.m., at IOOF Cemetery in The 
Dalles with Pastor Dorthy Nielson officiating. Memorials may be made to Zion 
Lutheran Church.
