She was born August 22, 1955 in Corvallis, the oldest child to Warren Reed and Sylvia (Holler) High. She was raised and graduated high school in Crescent City, Calif., and then attended the College of Redwoods in Eureka, Calif. She married George “Bob” Robert Linder June 25, 1989, in Crescent City, and they moved to The Dalles in 1997. She worked as the office manager for Sundown Enterprises and Jackson Pacific. She was a very active member of the Elks Lodge, serving as an officer, and was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed cross- stitching. Mrs. Linder is survived by her husband, George “Bob” R. Linder, The Dalles; three children, Marcina McCall and Christina Olson, both of Wisconsin, and Adam Tuft, Texas; five grandchildren; step-parents, Mazie High, Grain Valley, Mo., and Duke and Bonnie Adams, Crescent City, Calif.; mother-in-law, Billie Linder; sister and brother-in-law, Gayle and Mike Clark, all of The Dalles, Jerry Linder and Katherine Peterson, Sandy, Utah; sister-in-law, Brenda Nite, Houston, Texas; brothers, Randal R. and Reed D. High, both of Blue Springs, Mo.; Warren Roger High, Grain Valley, Mo.; Ken Adams, Medford; sisters, Becky and Dena Adams, both of Crescent City, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in- law, Chuck Linder, in January 2003. Graveside services will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on Friday, Dec. 5, 2003 at 1 p.m. Memorial services will be held at Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. with Asa Jenson and the Elks Lodge officiating. Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home is in care of arrangements. Memorials may be made to Hospice of The Gorge, 751 Myrtle St., The Dalles, Ore., 97058.
