The Dalles Weekly Reminder, January 15, 1988
Frank Frederic Leeper, 73, died Jan. 10 in The Dalles.  He lived here since 
1965.

Mr. Leeper was born July 7, 1914, in Lewiston.  He owned a ranch at Pilot Rock 
before moving to LaGrande, where he had a motel.  He moved to The Dalles in 
1965 and owned a gun shop.  He was life member of the Oregon Wheat League, 
past master of the Pilot Rock AM and FM Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Al 
Kadar Temple, a life member of the Pendleton Elks Lodge and a member of The 
Dalles Eagles Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley of The Dalles; a son, Gary of Pendleton; 
seven daughters, Barbara Liljequist of Chestland, Ohio, Arlea Cole of 
Pendleton, Julie Walker of Lyle, Debbie Leeper of The Dalles, Suzie Follette 
of Portland, LuAnna McDonald and Sherlene Bowen of The Dalles; 22 
grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters.

Burial was at Park Lawn Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Shrine 
Crippled Children Fund in care of Spencer, Libby and Powell Funeral Home, 
which was in charge of arrangements.
